The softener should never run out of salt as this is what cleans the resin beads to remove the hardness from the water and without this, the softener will not function properly. It is also important to not overfill your softener with salt. We recommend referring to your installation guide for the salt fill level. All of our water softeners use tablet salt, with our Ultra HE model using tablet or block salt. We recommend our own Ultimate salt, available to buy from monarchwatershop.co.uk. Generally, our deliveries will be made by a Monarch Water delivery driver in one of our branded vans, however, sometimes demand means we must use our trusted courier partner APC.
