We’re hugely proud to share that this summer 2024 marks our diamond anniversary in the world of water treatment. As our strapline says, ‘treating you better since 1964’ – that’s 60 years’ doing what we do best.

We’ve grown from the humble beginnings of a one-man band to where we are today – part of one of the world’s most respected pioneers in water treatment, leading in innovation and water softening technology, continuously improving.

Back in the 60s when we first started, hard water was just as damaging as it is today, just not as many people knew about it. At first, most applications were commercial, but over time, understanding of the benefits started to filter through to homeowners and before long, more and more homes across the country were installing water softeners and enjoying the many benefits they bring.

Through the decades, our reputation as the UK experts in water softening grew and grew. We love the fact that over 60 years, over 500,000 Monarch Water products have been installed in the UK. They can be found in the most celebrious of places including Legoland, Sandringham and several of the Premier Football stadiums.

We’re a firm favourite among plumbers and installers too, with our Ultimate Midi HE water softener being the installer’s no.1 product of choice thanks to its ease of installation, high performance and superior reliability.

60 years on, we’re still true to our roots. Based in Diss, in the Norfolk countryside, our team are mostly local, with a good number having been with us for over a decade. When you call us, you get to speak with real people, who really know their stuff and our service engineers are all fully employed by us too.
