MONARCH WATER ENGINEERS VISIT
COVID-19 POLICY STATEMENT – Monday 2nd November 2020.
Following the UK Government’s announcement on Saturday 31st October, with effect Thursday 5th November, we will no longer be carrying out any non-essential work during the lockdown phase. However, we will continue to support all our customers where a visit is essential for them. Additionally, it is paramount that not only are our staff kept safe and well, but equally you our customer too.
To these ends we have developed a small but essential policy statement questionnaire that needs to be shown to all our customers BEFORE we enter their premises.
- Have you, anyone in your household, or have you received visitors within the previous 14 days, knowingly been affected by the virus in any way? YES / NO
- We ask that all members of the household do not enter the room our engineer is working in.

- We ask that all members of the household do not remain in the doorway and watch or talk to our engineer.

- We ask that the area around the softener is cleared prior to the engineers visit.

- We ask that the area around the softener is cleaned with an anti-bacterial cleaner immediately before the engineer begins their work.

- We ask that all doorways are kept open from the room where our engineer is working to outside, to ensure that our engineer does not have to touch door handles etc

- At the end of the visit our engineer will need to dispose of his mask, shoe/feet coverings, gloves (if worn) and any bacterial wipes. It is important that they are disposed of at the premises he is working at. These will be placed in a sealed bag by our engineer prior to disposal.

- We politely ask that you do not offer our engineers any drinks during his visit.
- We ask that any air conditioning and/or fans are turned off, windows adjacent to the softeners are then opened, during our engineers visit.

- Payment is to be made at the end of the visit (if applicable) and under the engineer’s supervision by you calling our office on your own phone to make card payment. Please note we cannot accept cash or cheque under any circumstances.

All our engineers are equipped with PPE, namely shoe/feet coverings, masks, gloves and safety glasses. The use of shoe/feet coverings, masks and safety glasses or visors is mandatory, the use of gloves is optional as this can sometimes affect the ability of the engineer when handling small components.
